Sausage and Pepper Pizza Spirals
grated sharp cheddar
Pillsbury thin crust pizza dough
Brown sausage and remove to drain on paper towels.
Cook onion in skillet drippings until starting to turn golden.
Add peppers and cook until softened.
Unroll dough on a silpat or sheet of parchment paper.
Sprinkle sausage, peppers and onions, and cheese evenly over dough.
Starting with long side of rectangle, roll into a log enclosing filling.
Cut log into 1 inch slices. Arrange slices cut sides up on paper or silpat lined baking sheet.
Bake at 400 for 12-14 minutes or until dough is golden. Makes approximately 20 slices
