Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add soda. This makes a very soft dough.
Melt the butter in a 8×8” baking dish and lay the dough on top.
Gently pat out the dough to fill the pan and spread to the edges.
With a sharp knife score the dough into 12 biscuits.
Bake at 450 degrees, about 12- 15 minutes. Reheat leftovers [you won’t have any]
