Slow Cooker Bacon Cheeseburger Soup

This soup is very easy to make, family friendly and comfort in a bowl!

  • 6 quart slow cooker


  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 16 oz. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 bag 32 oz. frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 6-8 strips bacon, cooked
  • 1 cup grated white cheddar, divided
  • 2-3 green onions, chopped


  • Brown beef in skillet and drain well
  • Put broth into a prepared slow cooker and add seasonings and stir.
  • Add cooked beef, potatoes, Velvetta, bacon and grated cheddar, reserving some grated cheese and bacon for garnishing
  • Stir to combine, then cover and set cooker to low for 8 hours
  • Garnish soup with bacon, grated cheese, and green onions to serve.
