Slow Cooker Bacon Cheeseburger Soup
This soup is very easy to make, family friendly and comfort in a bowl!
- 1 lb ground beef
- 16 oz. Velveeta cheese
- 1 bag 32 oz. frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 6-8 strips bacon, cooked
- 1 cup grated white cheddar, divided
- 2-3 green onions, chopped
Brown beef in skillet and drain well
Put broth into a prepared slow cooker and add seasonings and stir.
Add cooked beef, potatoes, Velvetta, bacon and grated cheddar, reserving some grated cheese and bacon for garnishing
Stir to combine, then cover and set cooker to low for 8 hours
Garnish soup with bacon, grated cheese, and green onions to serve.
