Creations, Bloomin’ Ball Jars

Today’s the day!

CC’s first Birthday party!

Roses are my weakness….I was only going to buy one bunch….

but I was so torn…and CC only turns 1 once!

her birthday is really tomorrow

but I much prefer pink to all that St. Patrick’s Day green!

Just a little spray paint,  in white, ballet slipper pink, and berry pink.  I used quart sized jars [Walmart $9.99 dozen]

Ribbon,  secured  with glue dots

Party ready!

The birthday girl has two hats to wear, a crown and a party hat.  A princess needs to have a change of outfit should she   yank it off her head   so desire

don’t you just love roses

and pink

and Ball jars with ribbon?

Keep your fingers crossed that it doesn’t rain…

I will be sharing some more party details later this week, including an easy crown tutorial, a party bunting, and some Birthday and Easter chalkboard art

Flower tip:  I like to arrange  flowers 1-2 days before the event to give them a chance to open and be at their peak.   When I saw these roses at Costco 4 days before the party I flipped because they were exactly what I wanted.    I decided to see if they would last… I  stored them in a vase of water in my refrigerator for 3 days before cutting.  They held perfectly!  At Costco, roses are a bargain, always $16.99 for 2 dozen

Thanks so much for stopping by!

[I painted the ballerinas for CC’s birthday, shhhhhhh…..I haven’t given it to her yet!]
