Sigh…it is fun to dream…
I am currently using The Mermaid Room, a guest bedroom, as my “dream closet” when I’m at the beach house…
It has everything a fantasy closet should have!
It has a lovely poofy place to lounge
A comfy chair for reading and relaxing
Concealed storage
A big clock to keep me from lingering too long 😴
A mirror and a shelf for primping
Sort of a mini vanity for pretties or make-up 💄
There’s a desk
With storage shelves for necessities
Baskets hung on the wall tucked into the corner, handy for smaller items, and a luggage rack to hold tote bags
Oh and clothes! Of course! This is really the dreamy part because everything in this closet is a favorite~
Isn’t that the ultimate closet fantasy, a closet full of clothes you love, that fit perfectly and that you want to wear?
This where I hang the favorite part of my wardrobe, long dresses for lounging and parties and sundresses for daytime~
so cool and comfortable for hot summer days
There’s another closet in the master bath, but it’s not very big…so I sorta spread out a little…
In an effort to be fair I let HH keep his Dewalt drill stuff on the shelf 😊
This is a great place to hang hand washables for drying too~ the ceiling fan takes care of it in no time
Bursting with color this space is like a happy zone~
Now maybe this doesn’t qualify as an actual luxury closet but it is certainly a luxury to me!
Although, I would love to have a salmon pink sliding barn door hiding a flat screen TV and a wine fridge source
But then I would never leave 😘
Here some more ideas you just might be able to use, a little more practical and affordable than a zebra skin rug and a crystal chandy …
Even if you can’t put this in your closet all you need is an outlet and some wall space source
