Last week was a whirlwind … 🌪
These are a few random things that were swirling around
A big fat cabbage got dressed up with a few ranunculus blooms
It was paired with some other spring vegetables for a centerpiece that you will see later this week
Then it got “potted” {see chalkboard flower pot tutorial here}
And packed in the traveling tote to go to CC’s birthday party with her cousins
She might be a little princess but she has no trouble keeping up with the boys
CC loved her new cupcake carry all pouch
Charlie Brown thought the Chocolate Cupcakes with Creme de Menthe St. Patrick’s Day cupcakes were the best thing ever
Speaking of cupcakes
How cute is this baby blanket with a cupcake border
I found a video tutorial on Pinterest here
The tutorial is in Swedish, but if you watch it a few times, you’ll catch on…trust me if I can do this you can do this, and it’s really fun to stitch
Instead of the buttons suggested for the cherry on top, I just used bright pink needlepoint yarn and tied it in several double knots at the top of the cupcake, to keep things baby safe
Big E and I made sweet treats while HHjr and his brother were at baseball
He made them all by himself!
And they are irresistable!
Raspberry White Chocolate Roll ups
Ingredients
- 1 can {8} crescent roll dough
- 1 cup raspberry pie filling {or any flavor you like}
- 1/2 cup white chocolate morsels {or any flavor you like}
- sparkling sugar or decorating sugar optional
Instructions
- Unroll dough and separate into triangles. Drop 1-2 T filling on each triangle and spread around with back of spoon, leaving 1/4″ border. Sprinkle with chocolate and roll up, beginning with the short side and rolling to the point, enclosing the filling as best you can.
- Place rolls on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake at 375 until dough has cooked through and golden, 12-15 minutes. Let cool a few minutes before eating.
- Store covered at room temperature.
Note: if you have a Trader Joe’s near you, try their canned crescent rolls. They bake up a little bigger and have a more homemade taste than regular Pillsbury crescents.
