Have you heard about the new craze Hydro Dipping?
You fill a tub with water and then spray paint the surface with several colors
Then you quickly take an object or canvas and submerge it in the water
The paint forms an abstract pattern on the object
Very cool!!
This is Super Boy’s current passion
Here’s what you need…
A plastic tub, several colors of spray paint, disposable gloves,
and a little brother to shake the paint cans for you!
It helps to have a Dad assistant too…
{By the way, Southern guys insist on wearing shorts no matter what the weather!}
You also need something to dip!
He loves to dip water bottles like the one below
You can get them on Amazon here
He also has done phone cases,
he bought clear cases at the Dollar Store and gave me these two for Christmas!
To prep the object for dipping, use masking tape to cover areas you don’t want painted
He covered the top, and rim that the lid screws onto,
completely with tape, to protect these areas from paint
You don’t want to paint any areas that will come in contact with your mouth
Once paint is completely dry, remove tape and put on the lid
