I am trying to get my thoughts together for the holidays,
I want to finish getting the house decorated,
check my list for gifts bought and wrapped…
All the usual holiday stuff,
but I am not feeling all that great,
I think it’s just allergies and exhaustion…
so let’s take a peek back at the best of Christmas
from the past 8 years and see if we can both get inspired!
Elf Mischief Children’s Table features a table covered with freezer paper {or butcher’s paper} with the children’s names painted in big letters
The centerpiece is an Elf on the Shelf perched in a Santa vase full of candy canes and fishing in a candy bowl with a straw pole with a ribbon line. Painted ice cream cones trimmed with cotton sit at each child’s place
This is a simple way to dress up a beverage tub, cover it with a festive fabric, secure it with a bow tied ribbon and call it Santa’s sack!
It will look great on your buffet or at your beverage station and can be full of icy drinks, water or wine
Here’s a much appreciated gift for friends, neighbors, anyone on your list!
Choose a tried and true simple recipe and fill a stocking with the ingredients* to make it. Add a recipe card and this gift is wrapped and ready to go!
*make a note of any refrigerated ingredients, like meat, with a note to purchase, i.e. “Add 1 pound ground beef
2015 Coconut Rum Snowball in a Jar
These jars are easy to assemble, easy to deliver, and are full of ingredients to make a treat to eat!
Mix the jar ingredients with cream cheese and serve with fruit, cookies, or graham crackers. You could make a gift basket and fill it with fruit and cookie packages and tuck in the festive jar
2016 Hark the Herald Angels Sing
This is one of my favorite tablescapes and it is created with handmade angels, painted bottles, and lots of silver and gold sparkle…
2017 Snowy Cookie Tree and Coal Candy
This cookie tree is made with store bought cookies and icing. It’s easy to assemble and makes a great centerpiece, and when dinner’s done, you can eat it for dessert!
2018 Hallmark Christmas Movie Table
2019 Make your own Holiday Gift Bags
Plain white bags from the craft store with colored holiday lights can be made in a jiffy and will make whatever is tucked inside, extra special!
Even if our celebrations this year are different,
we can still fill our homes and hearts
with Merry & Jolly Holiday Cheer!
