Welcome to the monthly Creative Craft Hop
hosted by Sara from Birdz of a Feather
With October on the horizon {how did that happen???}
I am starting to think Halloween…
I’m not a fan of the scary, gory stuff,
but I do love the cutesy fun side of Halloween!
Last year I made a Halloween themed tiered tray
I decided to use some of these small Halloween things
and make a Spooky centerpiece
This wooden box or trough is great for creating long and low centerpieces
Last fall I styled it with pumpkins and dried roses
I decided the moss that was already in the trough
would work for Halloween,
since it is green and could look creepy
I tucked in several jars of paint to use to support the heavy items
The moss camouflages the jars while they keep
the ceramic Boo container and witch pumpkin
from sinking down into the box
I inserted the candle witch legs upside down into the moss,
using the camouflaged jars to prop them up
Then I continued to add things here and there
I tied a black & purple mesh ribbon on top of the checked ribbon
and added a mini pumpkin bucket
with candy corn to the bow’s center
All set for Halloween fun!
