Ingredients
1can Pillsbury reduced fat crescent rolls
1/2cupLight Alfredo Sauce
6large slices deli hamthin cut but not shaved
20asparagus spears
4ozshaved fresh Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Snap off tough ends of asparagus and rinse. Roll asparagus in a kitchen or paper towel and microwave on high for 1 minute. Set aside.
Separate dough into two rectangles and pinch perforations together forming 2 rectangular pieces of dough.
Spread with a thin layer of Alfredo Sauce and sprinkle with about 1/2 of cheese.
Lay 3 pieces of ham on each rectangle, cutting to fit if necessary.
Top each rectangle with about 10 asparagus spears.
Beginning from long side, gently roll dough as tightly as possible without stretching, to enclose filling.
Slice each roll into 4 pieces and place them, cut side up on a sil pat or parchment lined baking pan. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes until dough is golden. Makes 8
To serve, place a teaspoon of Alfredo sauce on each plate and spread a little with spoon back. Place rolls atop sauce. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan.
