Bacon and Sausage Brunch Bake
This breakfast casserole is perfect for brunch or a special occasion, but easy enough for any day!
- 1 crescent roll dough sheet {or can of crescent rolls}
- 1/2 lb. breakfast sausage
- 1/2 lb. bacon strips
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- salt & pepper
Cook sausage, stirring to crumble while evenly browning. Drain. Cook bacon until crispy. Drain bacon and crumble or cut into small pieces.
Lay dough into the bottom of a sprayed 9 x 13 inch shallow baking dish, stretching dough to fit pan and pinching seams to seal if using rolls. Sprinkle meats and cheese evenly over dough. Beat eggs with milk and season with salt and pepper. Pour egg mixture evenly over dough.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until eggs are set and dough is golden around the edges. Cut into squares to serve.
