10oz.Vermont Sharp White Cheddar [Cracker Barrel green package]
1 1/2cupsall purpose flour
1/2cupunsalted buttersoftened and cut into 4 pieces
2Thalf and half
4TEverything Seasoning*
grated Cheddar or Parmesan cheese for garnish if desired
Instructions
Pulse cheese with butter, flour and seasoning in a food processor at 5 second intervals until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add cream. Process 10 seconds or until dough forms a ball.
Roll dough out into a sheet about 1/8″ thick and cut cookies with themed cookie cutters, or form dough into a log and cut into 1/8″ slices. Store dough in refrigerator up to 3 days.
Bake cookies at 350 15-18 minutes until starting to brown. Top with grated cheddar and return to oven to just melt if desired. Makes about 3 dozen.
