LAMB SLIDERS  with MINT JELLY PEPPER SAUCE

a delicious twist on hamburger sliders, these are made with ground lamb and topped with an Asian mint sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground lamb
  • 1/2 jar pepper jelly
  • fresh mint leaves
  • fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce divided
  • S&P
  • 8 slider buns

Instructions
 

  • Make a sauce with pepper jelly and some soy sauce, until it's spreadable but not too liquid.
  • Add mint and rosemary to taste.  Don't let the rosemary dominate the flavor, just a touch.
  • Add 2-4 T of soy sauce to lamb and season with S&P.  Form into 8 slider patties.
  • Grill patties and serve on buns slathered with Mint Jelly Pepper Sauce.  Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig and mint leaves.  Makes 8 sliders
