1/2cupfig jam {I recommend Dalmatia Fig Spread} plus extra for dipping
1/2cupgrated Manchego cheese
Instructions
Roll out pastry sheet a little to seal seams. Cut dough in half horizontally. Spread 1/2 of dough with fig spread and top with cheese. Top cheese with remaining dough sheet and pinch edges together to seal. Using a fluted pastry wheel, cut filled dough into 10 even sticks. Place sticks on a silpat or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes, checking often near the end of baking time, until dough has cooked through and is golden. Let sticks rest for a couple minutes then cut each stick into 3 smaller pieces. Serve with extra jam for dipping.
