Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Roasting really brings out the flavor of vegetables

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 Brussels sprouts per person
  • olive oil
  • salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cut off stem ends of sprouts and score with an X
  • Discard loose outer leaves
  • Place on a foil or parchment lined baking sheet
  • Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper
  • Roll sprouts around to coat with oil and seasonings
  • Bake at 400 degrees until the sprouts begin to char

Notes

Cut large sprouts in half so they will cook the same as the smaller sprouts
