Slow Cooker Chicken & Sausage Pasta
Dump and dash and get out of the kitchen fast with this easy pasta dinner

- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 8 boneless skinless chicken tenders or 4 boneless breast cut into tenders
- 2 24 oz. jars Marinara sauce
- 12 oz. dry rigatoni, penne, or macaroni
- 1 1/2 cups grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
Brown sausage, crumble and drain on paper towels
Spray or line slow cooker and put chicken in the pot. Season to taste with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning
Pour 1 jar of marinara sauce over chicken
Top sauce with sausage then pour the second jar over all
Cover pot and bake on low for 4 hours
Shred chicken in pot with 2 forks and stir
Cook pasta until just done, drain and add to crockpot at the 4 hour mark
Add cheeses and stir to combine
Replace cover and continue to bake for 20-30 minutes
