Slow Cooker Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Sliders
This versatile recipe only takes 5 minutes to prep, cooks in a slow cooker in 3-4 hours and can be served as a main dish or party fare. It's a crowd pleaser, perfect for families and tailgating too

- 1 can 20 oz, crushed pineapple
- 1 bottle 18 oz., BBQ Sauce
- 8 large boneless chicken tenders or 4 boneless breasts or thighs
- 12 Hawaiian rolls or slider rolls
- salt and pepper
Cut chicken into 1 inch chunks
Drain pineapple in a colander, pressing with the back of a spoon to force out excess moisture
Put chicken into a sprayed slow cooker, season with salt and pepper and top with drained pineapple
Pour BBQ sauce over all. Cover and cook on high heat for 3-4 hours
Serve with toasted buns. Makes about 12 sliders
