Recipe Box, “Lipstick on a Pig” Sandwich

Sometimes you can put lipstick on a pig  🐷  💄

And dress ‘er right up!

Put a little fancy in that ham and cheese sandwich~

Start with some good french bread and turn it into Parmesan garlic toast

Cut the french bread loaf in half horizontally and spread with butter.   Sprinkle with garlic powder or seasoning mix, top with Parmesan cheese and toast until golden, but not too hard

Wrap asparagus in a dish towel and cook for 2 minutes on high in microwave or until crisp tender

Place sliced cheese on garlic bread toast and top with ham slices rolled up around asparagus spears

Bake in oven or toast in toaster oven until cheese melts and everything is hot

Garnish with an orange slice and some orange zest

Now that’s a ham and cheese sandwich!

You can also top it all off with a drizzle of Alfredo and some bacon pieces if you want to get extra fancy schmancy

Either way, it will remind you that sometimes, all you need is a little lipstick!   💄  😘

Enjoy!
