Not much time for painting, but I did manage a quick rose
I found a photo, enlarged it and printed it out for reference
Slowly building up the colors with layer upon layer, starting with the lightest areas first and gradually adding more darks
Be sure to let the layers dry before adding more paint unless you want them to bleed into each other
The white paper was left untouched in the highlight areas-
