Creations, Powdered Sugar Snowmen & Gingerbread House Table

Do you put your decorations away asap after the holidays or do you let them linger for a while…

I do a little of both, and love to let snowmen and other wintry things stay out to play

Especially white lights

For Christmas Eve Lunch with Santa, I moved some of the Hark the Herald Angels Sing things to make a gingerbread house centerpiece for the kiddos

I did leave an angel or two, to remind them to be good  😇

A sweet snowman treat was at their places for dessert

Donuts, a wedding cookie, pretzel arms, a peanut butter cup hat and icing for their faces and sticking things together

Small powdered donuts and powdered sugar cookie balls from the grocery store

Orange and black icing leftover from the Halloween Tipsy Witch, with a toothpick to “draw” it on

It was tricky getting it to stick on the sugary surface…

But snowmen aren’t supposed to be perfect anyway!

I used gold star covered red cloth dinner napkins, folded in half for the placemats, paper Santa face plates, and candy cane easels for their placecards

He was looking a little lost on the plate, so I elevated them with some cupcake paper cups

White tube icing holds his figure together and holds his hat in place

The kiddos loved them, and they were gobbled up

They didn’t even make a mess!
