Take-out Tuesday, Tipsy Witch Salted Caramel Ice Cream

What happens when you spike your Salted Caramel Ice Cream with a little bourbon?

witchy vignette

Why, you get a tipsy witch!

And you don’t know what she’ll do!

I have had a lot of experience with a tipsy witch or two…

Bottoms up is their motto!

And drop a Haunted House on you!

And if a witch gets into the wine

Tipsy Witch Salted Caramel Ice Cream is the October Flavor of the Month!

This bewitching salted caramel ice cream calls for a dash of bourbon, but if you’re not sure your witches can handle it,  you can leave it out…

It is wickedly easy to brew up

Stir salt and caramel sauce into sweetened condensed milk in a quart freezer container

Whip cream into soft peak stage

Gently fold whipped cream into milk and caramel base

Cover and freeze at least 4 hours before serving

Serve with an ice cream cone witch hat

Pipe icing around rim of cone and edge of cookie to secure and add a decorative candy for the buckle

Tipsy Witch Salted Caramel Ice Cream

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream*
  • 1 1/2 cups salted caramel ice cream topping or caramel sauce
  • 1 can 14oz sweetened condensed milk
  • pinch of kosher salt
  • 3 T bourbon optional

  • Whip cream until stiff peaks form. Put milk in a quart sized freezer container. Stir in caramel and salt. Gently fold in whipped cream. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  • Serve with an ice cream cone witch hat if desired
  • *substitute 8 oz. Cool Whip if desired
  • Ice Cream Cone Witch Hat
  • 1 sugar cone
  • 1 large flat cookie {I used Tate’s chocolate chip cookies}
  • canned black icing {baking section of grocery}
  • candy ghost buckle {Target}
  • Pipe icing around rim of cone and edge of cookie and secure together. Add candy buckle and serve on top of ice cream scoop

This ice cream will disappear faster than the wicked witch of the west!

    This is awesome! I cracked up at your witch in the chandelier! I just bought some Starbuck’s Salted Caramel coffee in a big jug, and think I may need to add a little kick to it while I make the ice cream! Double whammy hex!

    Too cute! Do you think the ice cream recipe would work in my little old Donvier ice cream maker? I love salted caramel, and bourbon and chocolate always work — maybe?
