Break off tough ends of asparagus. Rinse and roll in a clean towel. Microwave for 2 minutes on high. Immediately unwrap and place on cutting board. Cut spears into 2 pieces.
Separate dough into individual triangles
Spread each triangle with bacon jam
Sprinkle jam with cheese
Place 4 asparagus pieces on the bottom edge of dough and carefully roll up to the point to enclose the filling
Place on a sprayed or parchment lined baking sheet
Bake for 12-15 minutes until dough is cooked through and golden
Serve them whole as a side dish or let cool 5 minutes and cut rolls in half for appetizers
Notes
*you can also substitute crumbled bacon for the bacon jam if desired
