Roll dough out to increase diameter about 1 inch on a piece of parchment paper. Cut dough in half. Spread an even layer of pie filling over half dough leaving 1/4″ around edge. You might have a little filling leftover.
Top with remaining dough half and crimp edges with fork to seal. Transfer paper to baking sheet.
Cut dough with a fluted pastry cutter into sticks, but leave the sticks together in the original formation. Brush dough with egg wash if desired.
Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until dough is golden. Transfer paper to counter and let cool. Store sticks covered at room temperature.
