Grilled cheese sandwiches just got sophisticated…they met Orange Marmalade Vinaigrette and fell in love…
You can whip up this Orange Marmalade Vinaigrette in a minute, just 4 ingredients you probably have
Just put everything in a jar, season with salt and pepper and shake it up~
Crisp greens, fresh berries
AND a grilled ham & cheese sandwich!
I call these Monte Cristo sandwiches, which are often served with a jam on the side, because mine have the traditional marmalade or strawberry jam dipping sauce on the inside
I made one with strawberry and one with marmalade, or use blackberry or fig~Let the sandwiches rest after cooking to make cutting easier
Carefully cut them into 4 fingers, then cut each finger into 3 squares
Bite size!
Load a little tray with the dressing and your salad
and go find a quiet little spot to enjoy it~
Full of flavors and textures- sweet, tangy, crispy, crunchy, creamy, fruity, cheesy good
It’s a perfect summer salad…
It would even be great for breakfast!
