We look forward to celebrating the 4th of July in the USA,
with Fireworks,
Flags,
and Decorations
Flip Flops, Firecrackers & Flags
Even if you don’t celebrate the 4th of July,
it’s fun to add red white & blue to your summer menu,
like these Berry Pancake Stacks
And this Red, White & Blueberry Danish
One of my favorite kitchen helpers is Pillsbury
I love to use their refrigerated dough products
The base of this danish is a crescent roll dough sheet
Using spreadable cream cheese and a crescent roll dough sheet
made quick work of this cheese danish
Spread the cheese over the dough
and sprinkle the sugar evenly over the top
If you want a lot of creamy cheese filling
make your cheese layer even thicker
Skip the sugar altogether if you prefer,
the fruit itself will provide sweetness
I used red raspberry jam for the next layer,
{or you can use sliced strawberries or raspberries}
Top with blueberries
!s there anything better than a baked sweet blueberry?
Carefully roll up into a log enclosing the berries
And form dough log into a ring, pinching ends together
and cutting slits around the top of dough
After baking add sprinkles for an extra touch of festive
and a simple powdered sugar glaze
Serve for breakfast, brunch, or dessert with a little ice cream
