Take-out Tuesday, Tailgate Trash

So, who can resist a snack mix right?

I’ve been making Chex Mix for years, and to this day my grown children expect a jar of it on the counter or in the pantry

They both swear that theirs doesn’t taste as good as mine, but I think that’s just a con to get me to make it for them   😉

Often I make 2 versions, an adult mix with lots of goodies, and a more kid friendly mix with just Chex and perhaps goldfish or pretzels

Full of nuts and cereal, it does have nutritional value, and you can keep it gluten free if you like

Tailgate Trash is my traditional Chex Mix recipe with the addition of 2 kinds of cheese crackers, cashews, and honey roasted peanuts

Seriously irresistible
