Party Panache, Hocus Pocus Party Dip

We had a super fun Saturday

A little batting practice as we entertained friends and watched football on the patio

It was chilly enough to light the fire around 4 pm

58 degrees was quite a difference than the 98 degrees we experienced 2 weeks ago!

Chilly enough for a nice hot and hearty dip!

This easy to make party dip will put a spell on your guests!

Brown the sausage and saute the onion & celery in the drippings

Add to a slow cooker with the drained corn and tomatoes

Top with cream cheese and white cheddar

Set the pot to low and cover

After about 1 hour, the cheese will be mostly melted

Stir and then add sour cream and remaining cheddar and stir again

Cover and let dip continue to cook on low for another hour

Serve with scoop style corn chips and provide a large serving spoon

Big E & CC were eating this like a vegetable side dish!

We nibbled on it all through the afternoon and evening

Some of us got quite energized!

A great day with family, friends, football and music!

  • slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 8 oz white cheddar grated
  • 4 oz cheddar or Mexican blend grated
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cans 16 oz each sweet corn, drained
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes and green chilies drained
