Are you all set for Thanksgiving?
Ours will be small and casual
After years of doing Thanksgiving with HH’s sister and her whole family,
Everyone is going in a different direction now
Our children are grown and have their own family obligations
HHjr will be the head chef and we have yet to collaborate on the menu
What are the dishes that must must be on your table?
My favorites are stuffing of course, like my Mom’s with Pecans
or I might get fancier and make
Holiday Dressing with Foccacia, Cornbread & Sausage
and Mirmie’s Creamed Onions with Chopped Peanuts are a holiday must!
Maple Roasted Butternut Squash with Brussels Sprouts {or broccoli}
is elegant, mouthwatering and super easy
I also love green bean casserole and you can find a slow cooker version here
I am thinking about changing it up this year and trying
Do you make homemade rolls?
I like to use these mini cutting boards for “bread and butter plates”
I will probably make Rosemary Parmesan Biscuit Bubbles
or
The boys have to have potatoes,
Mashed potatoes can be a lot of work, our go to potato dish is a hash brown casserole

Oh and cranberry sauce!
I have a super easy homemade one coming up tomorrow,
You can make it now and stash it in your fridge until the big day!
There will also be some wonderful cranberry holiday appetizers
Perfect for upcoming gatherings, football, and holiday parties!
As you can see, I am still in the thinking stage
