Recipe Box, Holiday Orange Rolls

I’m still working on our Thanksgiving menu…

Looking through my recipes I found these oh so wonderful Orange Rolls

The best way to describe these pillowy soft rolls is clouds

They are like eating sweet orange flavored clouds!

You start with combining melted butter, sugar and orange zest into a topping for frozen roll dough

Place the roll dough in a greased 9 x 13 baking dish, leaving plenty of space for them to expand, and top with a dollop of the orange zest mixture

Cover them with a cooking oil sprayed piece of saran and set them aside to rise

After about 4 hours you will have fat little puffs of dough that are ready for baking.  Don’t worry if some of the topping moves around, it doesn’t matter, the flavor is still there!

While rolls are baking make the glaze

After baking for 13-15 minutes they will be golden brown,

and will smell divine, all yeasty and orange and sugary….

Pour the glaze all over the hot rolls and let them sit for several minutes before cutting

Be sure to serve these on a plate with a fork!
