With the holidays rapidly approaching,
now’s the time to think of ways
to keep from getting too stressed out and exhausted
One of my favorite ways to make things easier
during the holidays is to prepare simple food,
and then give it a wow presentation!
HHjr wowed us the other night with his plate of a burger and fries…
The knife really grabs your attention!
Serve up some seasonal fun
with cheese pumpkins with pretzel stems on a bed of “potato chip hay”
and a cheese and pretzel broom
Or turn an easy Butter Pecan Pumpkin Dip
Into a turkey by inserting crackers and pretzels for his feathers
and add a slice of red pepper for his head and neck
A simple ice cream cone turns into a Tipsy Witch
plated upside down with a chocolate sprinkled cone witch hat
A pretty tiered tray elevates simple nibbles to grand party fare
A Maple Bundt Cake sitting on a bed of leaves
and garnished with leaf picks is Fall Fabulous!
Make the place settings for Thanksgiving extra special
with a small blessing card,
a monogram tag and a savory turkey cheese cookie
Holiday Sweet Potato Rounds are not only easy,
but they can be served as an appetizer or a side dish
Whip up a simple dessert like this no bake Tiramisu
and put it in jars tied with seasonal ribbons~
The jars make it so easy to serve and then
slip off the ribbons and put them in the dishwasher
Set a colorful buffet with pumpkins
and use multiple cake stands and pedestal servers
of different heights to add interest
Pssst…this Hot Buttered Rum Roll Cake is made with handy crescent roll dough
and filled with apples and pecans
It can be served for brunch
or topped with ice cream and caramel for dessert
Use something unexpected to elevate the simplest snacks
to a party presentation
Chip spill from a cornucopia to grab for dipping
and martini glasses make simple snacks feel elegant
Look for free decor right outside your door
and decorate tables and platters with pinecones and leaves
Pecan acorns are an easy way to dress up
Mini Pumpkin Cakes with Brown Sugar Glaze
Keep things simple but festive for the holidays!
‘Tis almost THE season!
