We had a combination of traditional
and non traditional dishes for Thanksgiving
Instead of turkey we had grilled Lamb Lollipops with
a traditional Green Bean Casserole,
Mom’s Stuffing, Creamed Onions,
and Macaroni and Cheese for the kids
The boys devoured the lamb chops, they were so good!
No one in my family likes pumpkin pie
so I made a version of pecan pie with biscuits
for dessert
Not only is this pecan pie bubble up delicious
as well as easy to make,
it can be served for breakfast
{with an optional drizzle of maple syrup!}
or topped with ice cream for dessert!
Only a few ingredients,
sugar, biscuits, corn syrup, vanilla,
pecans and eggs
Whisk eggs,
then add corn syrup, vanilla and sugar
Add pecans
Stir to combine
Add biscuit pieces
Pour the mixture into a prepared 9″ x 13″ baking dish
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
or until biscuits are cooked through and golden
Serve warm or at room temperature
