St. Patrick’s Day is Sunday,
Let’s celebrate with Baileys Irish Creme!
My favorite way to enjoy Baileys Irish Creme is on the rocks
for a pre-dinner cocktail or an after dinner treat
Sometimes I make ice cubes out of coffee to use instead of regular ice
If you don’t have an ice cube tray, you can use an egg carton
Two of my special blogger friends,
Mary from Home is Where the Boat is
and Nancy from Two Trails One Road
have shared recipes
on how to make your own Irish Creme
and they swear it’s much better than the Baileys you can buy!
Click on their blog titles to get the recipes
You can make a St. Patrick’s Day toast with Lucky Shots
They’re made with vanilla ice cream, coconut rum and Baileys
You can also enjoy Baileys in mini cupcakes
are very easy to make using a doctored cake mix,
and they are a little bite of heaven!
If you’re short on time or having a mad craving, you can make a
2 Minute Bailey’s Crownie Sundae
It is a creamy chocolate cake like brownie,
the ingredients are put into a glass or jar,
microwaved for 90 seconds and a Crownie is formed!
Top it with vanilla ice cream for a 2 minute treat
You can also make a dessert topping with Baileys
can be used as a substitute for whipped cream
It is delicious served on pound cake, pie, parfaits,
just about anything!
Boozy Bushwacker Ice Cream is a family favorite
It packs a punch, so eat responsibly,
and don’t share with the under 21 crowd!
You can make a non alcoholic version by substituting the liqueurs
with rum, coconut and vanilla extracts
You can also make a delicious ice cream pie
“May your troubles be less,
your blessings be more,
and nothing but happiness
come through your door!”
