Recipe Box, 2 Minute Crownie Sundae

Okay, so you’re thinking “what is a crownie?”

It’s a combination of a cake and a brownie!

When I saw this recipe for Bailey’s Irish Creme Mug Brownie

from How Sweet Eats

and read that this dessert for 1 can be cooked in only 1 minute,

I just had to try it!

Next time you get a craving for a piece of cake or a chocolate brownie,

you can whip up this treat for 1 and satisfy your craving

without making a whole cake or pan of brownies

All you need is unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla extract,

chocolate chips, Bailey’s Irish Creme {I used Bailey’s Salted Caramel}

flour, sugar, butter, and a pinch of salt {not pictured}

You can substitute milk or cream for the Bailey’s if desired

Put all the ingredients into a microwave safe mug, glass or small jar

and stir well to combine

Microwave on high for 1 minute,

check and continue to cook for 15-20 more seconds

until it is set and resembles cake

Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
