Party Panache, Lucky Shots

May the luck of the Irish be with ye this week!
And if you make these lucky shots, your happiness is guaranteed!
The ingredients are so simple you will do a jig 💃
Make things extra festive by decorating the shot glasses with a green sparkling sugar rim
Dipping the rims in a little simple syrup {sugar water} makes the decorative sugar stay in place
Fill ’em up!
Serve them on a rainbow 🌈
Add a festive St. Pat’s message ☘️
Add a Shamrock Pot for extra luck
A utensil holder keeps a rainbow of colored pens and pencils at my fingertips
for sketching a rainbow upon a whim
A rainbow is sure to put a smile on your face
and so will a Lucky Shot!

Lucky Shots
Ingredients
- vanilla ice cream
- Bailey’s Irish Creme liqueur
- Malibu Caribbean Rum with Coconut liqueur
- shot glasses
- green or gold sparkling or decorative sugar
- 2 T sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Each serving should be 1/3 ice cream, 1/3 Bailey’s, and 1/3 Coconut Rum liqueur
- Set out ice cream to soften in a large measuring cup while preparing glasses.
- Stir sugar into water and microwave for one minute to dissolve sugar. Put decorative sugar in a small dish. Dip rim of glass into sugar water then into decorative sugar, turning to coat. Repeat until all glasses are coated.

Be careful, it packs a punch! I don’t want you seeing double!
Cheers!

[…] Lucky Shots […]
Those shots look mighty yummy! Did you do the painting? Darling. Hope you have lots of luck today!
Love the double rainbow shot you were lucky to capture with your camera Jenna! Fun shooter for St. Paddy’s Day with your green sparkling sugar rim. ☘️
I have that palette plate! I was given it as a gift at Christmas! I will have to use it in a photo so you can see 😉. Those shots sounds so good and scary thing is I have all those ingredients on hand!💚
Yes, please! Green lips and all.
Well, these look delicious!! Love all of your rainbow colors!
Green sugared rims on glasses make me happy! How fun! I’ll be signing books with my writer’s group at Arts and Crafts Festival on St. Patrick’s Day and usually head over to McSharry’s for lunch, but this year my hubster won’t be able to be there for lunch, so I’ll dine on Irish fare without him. Maybe I’ll make these when I get home!
I can’t believe I’m going to miss the festival this year 😢 I am north celebrating a bunch of birthdays with friends and family…I might need a lucky shot or 2 to ease my sorrow 🍀 I hope you get writer’s cramp from selling and signing a gazillion books! Please take a lot of photos of the cool stuff I’m missing! >
Jenna, what festive shots for St. Patrick’s Day! Your display is so pretty and wow, the double rainbows!
I think I want to hang out with you on Friday! I love your paintings too!
Thanks Jeanie, I’ll save you a lucky shot ☘️

Pretty — and no doubt taste just as good. Do you use a spoon or just drink it? At any rate, looks pretty sinful… and fun!
Nope, just knock it back 🙂 Happy St. Pat’s Ellen! >
Love the double rainbow.
Very festive shots and your painting is a great backdrop for the occasion.
Thanks Bonnie, you are the queen of the outdoor photos! >
Oh I love this! Pretty shamrocks, pretty drinks, my kind of party. Better not drink those fast!
ha ha, the problem is they’re so good you want a giant glass full 🙂 >
Sounds like a fun way to celebrate St. Pat’s Day:@)
