Okay, I just realized I have been misspelling Worcestershire Sauce… 😱
I thought it had another H in there after the c…so if you’ve been wondering all this time why I keep spelling it like that, I am so sorry!! I’m not going back into my recipe archives to change it in every single recipe that calls for it, but I promise from now on I will spell it correctly!!
Now that we’ve got that cleared up, let’s talk sliders
These little sandwiches feature a creamy cheese spread
Cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, cheddar cheese, oh my!
After cooking the bacon slices, the onions are sauteed in a little leftover bacon fat, yummmmm
A generous layer of spread goes on the bottom and top of buns
Then onions
Throw the ham pieces in the skillet the bacon and onion was cooked in to get a little color on them
Top onions with bacon pieces
Then ham
Replace tops
And snuggle the full buns next to each other in a baking dish
You can make a few, or increase ingredient amounts to feed a crowd
Make the mustard sauce with melted butter, garlic salt, yellow mustard and a dash of…
Worcestershire Sauce 😅
Spread the tangy sauce over bun tops
Bake covered for 15 minutes, then uncover and continue baking for 10 more minutes or until everything is hot and melty
Yes they are totally sinful, but at least they’re small!!
You can make these ahead and refrigerate until baking
You can also warm them in a foil package on the grill
