I hope you had a festive St. Patrick’s Day!

Now it’s time to think about more Spring decorating

Easter is only 3 weeks away!

This Bird’s Nest Cake is fun to serve for any Spring occasion

It also makes a great centerpiece!

The cake is chocolate fudge with salted caramel glaze

and brown sugar icing~

a wonderful indulgence after Lenten fasting!

Fresh green vegetables also make a lovely Spring centerpiece

The cabbage is hollowed out and filled with pink ranunculus

It is on a large platter lined with cabbage leaves and fresh spinach,

surrounded by a head of butter lettuce,

sugar snap peas and Brussels sprouts

Cabbage is also pretty to use on a buffet,

a green cabbage is hollowed out and filled with a dip

Red and green cabbage leaves hold a variety

of vegetables for dipping

These are Easter baskets I made for my grands when they were younger

The baskets are painted white

and then I attached a painted wood initial to each

and lined them with a color coordinated napkin
