Goodbye Society 6

This is from a recent email from Society 6:

We hope this message finds you well. As Society6 continues to evolve, we are making strategic changes to our marketplace structure to better align with current market dynamics and customer preferences. While our community has grown to include over 400,000 artists and an incredibly diverse catalog, we’ve decided to operate as a more focused brand with a smaller group of artists.

In other words, I have been basically kicked off

  1. I love everything I have ordered, and was happy to support you for several years. I hope you can find a new platform to use.

  2. Rita C. says:

Jenna, I hope you find a new venue!

  3. Mary says:

Aww Jenna, I know your are disappointed! I hope you can find another avenue to feature your designs and give you a creative outlet. ♥

  4. mary says:

Oh no. Will really miss your beautiful blogs.

  5. That is such a shame! I hope you find a new home quickly.

  6. Patti @ Pandora's Box says:

Aww, so sorry to hear this – maybe look into an Etsy shop? I have always enjoyed your art work!

  7. Nancy says:

Oh, I know how upsetting this is to you. I love my wine cooler and often use it at the summer house. I also have a pillow from you. I hope you can find another creative outlet. Sending you a great big hug!

  8. How disappointing! I’ve bought pillows with your artwork on them, and thought this was a great way to market your wonderful talent. It is too bad that they are no longer supporting the smaller businesses. It went that way with eBay, then Etsy. It always comes down to the big sellers getting all the attention and squeezing out the smaller businesses.

  9. Pam says:

Jenna, this is so disappointing and I am so sorry. I love all of your work and I have several products from Pam’s hydrangeas. I need to order more before they are gone. I hope you find another outlet for your amazing art work!

  10. No way! That is horribly distressing. I’m glad, at least, that it is open for another month. I will stock up on Christmas and birthday things! And add to my own Jenna collection!

  11. ehacarr says:

Thank you for allowing us to share your disappointment. Take a deep breath, wait until the disappointment dies down a tad, turn the proverbial 6 1/2 degrees and you will find another way! Best of luck!

So sorry Jenna….I love my pillow and ready to bring it out again for Easter. Hang in there and keep us posted on your new outlet. Hugs

Your reply to these scoundrels was way too nice. They had no right to kick you out. You should have told them to go fck themselves and that you will now blackball them to your blog buddies and anyone else on the internet, like Reddit.

  15. Emily McGriff says:

This is really disappointing Jenna and I am so sorry because I now how much you enjoyed creating and listing your beautiful artwork. I know you will find another way, just in a different outlet. I’m glad you have another month to figure things out.

  16. I’m so sorry to hear about the company’s focus – ugh!

  17. Kim says:

I’m so sorry to hear about this Jenna. It seems harsh… You are such a creative talent and I hope very much that you are able to find another outlet. Take care!

I feel you they seem to have closed our shops with out really notifying us. I don’t know what they are thinking.
