Time for a new monthly recipe inspiration list for March. I always list many more recipes than I can actually tackle in one month, but I like to have choices and flexibility. The recipes from other sources I want to try are linked to the original recipe if you want to try them along with me. Recipes without links are just ideas of things I want to try or create
I have learned that when you have a plan, and a just a few recipes to pick from~rather than stacks you’ve been saving for years 😳 it is so much easier. I have been making and following a monthly bucket list faithfully for 3 years and I have learned so much, become a much better cook, and have had so much fun in the kitchen instead of dreading dinner time
I’m thinking green for March, so there a lot of green dishes listed~
Appetizers
Kale and White Bean Crostini from Camille Styles
Mini Irish Hand Pies
Roasted Eggplant with Figs, Stilton and Pecans from French Gardner Dishes
Sides
Magic Broccoli from Recipe Tin Eats
Roasted Parsnip Medallions with Rosemary from Happier than a Pig in Mud
Irish Potato Pie from A Spicy Perspective
Main
Vegetable Lasagna
Burgers with Sexy Sauce from the Sugar Hit
Chicken and Veggie Cobbler from Miz Helen’s Country Kitchen
Leek and Asparagus Quiche
Desserts & Miscellaneous
Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cake from Happier than a Pig in Mud
Chocolate Mint something
Carrot Cake Cookies
Coconut Syrup from Memories by the Mile
Breakfast Danish
Here’s what I made from the February Paint Bucket. I had so many things I wanted to make, and the month was much too short!
Nacho Stuffed Potato Skins turned into Loaded Fries with some inspiration from Home is Where the Boat is. The “canoe” shaped potato skins are more easily managed as a finger food than the traditional whole skin
I used a standard bacon, cheese, sour cream and chive mixture and they were quite tasty!
Pop over to Mary’s Pigskin Playoffs and Potato Skins here to see all her creative versions and get the recipes
Fat Tuesday Hushpuppies turned into Cheddar and Chive Hushpuppies and were featured at Lori’s Culinary Creations, Tickle My Tastebuds
I adapted this Kale Citrus Salad with Creamy Orange Dressing from Ree Drummond’s here
Mushroom Stroganoff with Goat Cheese from Alton Brown turned into Velvet Mushroom Stroganoff with Pancetta
Bacon and Corn Zucchini Crust Pizza from Closet Cooking turned into Zucchini Crust Veggie Pizza
Red Velvet Something turned into Red Velvet Brownies. This recipe was featured twice, Cupcakes & Crinoline, Project Inspired, 33 Amazing Desserts, and Cupcakery, Sweet and Savoury Sundays
Sausage Breakfast Crescent Rolls turned into Pancakes & Bacon Cupcakes and was featured on Cook Craft Love, Talented Tuesday
My favorite recipe this month was the Zucchini Crust Veggie Pizza, be sure to try it~
Have fun in the kitchen!

Sounds like you have some nice variety listed Jenna! I’m with you, chocolate mint has been on my mind too, I actually went looking for some inspiration yesterday. I think you’ll be happy with your choices and personally keep going back and looking at your hushpuppies-good stuff! Happy March:@)
Looks like another delicious month Jenna! Thanks for the shout out, I’m looking forward to some green at the table this month and still thinking about your zucchini crust pizza 🙂
If your March meals are as good as February’s were, you are in for some good eating.
Thank you for the nice recipes.
The recipes look lovely. Thanks for linking up to Sweet and Savoury Sunday, stop by and link up again. Have a great day!! Laura@Baking in Pyjamas
