Tablescapes, Flip Flops and Umbrellas

Flip Flops are fabulous for summer fun
And umbrellas are necessary to shade the hot sun
Nothing beats a day at the beach
Especially with cupcakes within easy reach
Wiggle your toes and fill up your glass
Settle down for a lovely repast
Pull up a chair and breathe the salt air
A day at the beach, is itself quite a treat
Unfortunately today, I am far far away…
My view of the sea will be this Nautical Nursery
This little guy needs me to stop by
But just between you and me,
I’m hope to be back soon to the Sea
My very favorite place to be
Thanks so much for flip flopping with me today!

What fun beachy table details Jenna! The flip flops as a napkin holder made me grin from ear to ear! I love your hand painted chargers with the flip flops and umbrellas. What an adorable little first mate dressed in his sea-faring onesie 🙂
Fun stuff – but I think my favorite place might be with that sweet little guy 🙂
You’re right of course! I am very blessed and he is a little angel~ >
You have such fun doing tables when you are at your home away from home. As you might guess, I’m crazy for your touches of whimsey and color.
This table is so cute, Jenna! I love the “flip flop as napkin ring” idea, and am going to use it when I have my cousins’ birthday party for the grandkids! The kids will squeal when they see flip flops on grandma’s table! Enjoy your sweet grandbaby! Life doesn’t get much better than that……

Oh fun, thank you Rosie! >
Have fun with your little cutie:@)
Very happy and pretty! I think this is my favorite tablescape yet!
Judy
thanks Judy! So fun seeing you the other day! I had a million questions to ask you, so maybe next time~ >
Another fun beach table, Jenna! I love your plates with painted flip flops. Using flops as napkin holders is such a fun idea, too. Have fun while you’re away with your newest little guy. The beach will be there waiting for you when you return. Your table has gotten me very excited about a beach trip we’re planning later this summer…something suddenly planned, our entire family together, toes in the sand, walks at sunset….ahhhh!
Oh fun fun! It’s hot on the coast, but still cooler than Bham because of the ocean breezes…I know you will have a wonderful family trip~ >
Beautiful and fun tablescape! I really love the placemats, pretty and unique!
Thank you Rhonda!
What cute dishes, and a cute and fun table! I am with you…I could stand to spend some time near the sea right now! Find me a beach…stat! Thank you so much for coming by and sharing at Celebrate it Sunday.

What a fun tablescape, set against an incredible view! I love all of the color, textures and whimsy! A lingering meal would undoubtedly take place here … wish I were there!

Flip flops and beach chairs, how cute. What a fun summer table, all of your whimsical touches make for a delightful beach tablescape. I have some flip-flop decor I would like to use in a tablescape this summer, maybe in August.
