Creations, Citrus Tags and a Gift Basket

I am focusing on citrus this month, and thought I would try citrus stamping
How hard could it be?
Harder than it looks!
I quit trying pretty quickly because painting citrus is easy peasy
I shared a tutorial for painting watermelon, lemons and limes a couple of years ago here
A couple of strokes and voilà…
Tip: mix a little of the rind color into the white for the flesh of the fruit
I made some place cards for the Citrus Explosion table
And a gift basket tag
Add a special message
And tie it on a special gift
Who wouldn’t want a basket of these beauties?
And tuck in some fresh flowers
This will spread warmth and sunshine on the coldest of days!
Have you ever tried citrus stamping? Do you have any tips?

Love your bright citrus explosion and cheery gift tags Jenna! I think the last stamping I tried to do was with a carved design in potato in elementary school 🙂
Jenna, the citrus basket is a fabulous winter gift for a friend to brighten cloudy days! Your creative gift tag adds a sweet bonus of extra special care for detail!
Fun! I love citrus!

Thank you Lynn, who doesn’t love fresh fruit and I don’t know why I haven’t thought of painting gift tags before, so simple and such a special touch! Have fun with it! >
Your tags are cute and I really like the basket of lemons and limes with the bright ribbon on it! So nice to see the wonderful color and delicious citrus this time of year! Thanks for sharing at Celebrate Your Story!
