Gifts from the Kitchen, Octoberfest Basket

I love to give baskets full of goodies for special occasions, I think gift baskets are just as much fun for the giver as the receiver because you get to shop for all the goodies!

I was at Fresh Market the other day and after picking out some flowers for my daughter’s birthday, I saw a pumpkin spice candle and thought, “she’d love that”

Then I saw a Maple Bacon Balsamic Salad Dressing and thought, “I bet they would love this dressing”

Before I knew it I was ohhing and ahhing, and treasure hunting for fabulous fall finds to put in a birthday basket!

Beer cheese crackers and spread, pumpkin salsa and Halloween corn chips, pumpkin pecan granola and maple sweet potato chips, I couldn’t believe all the crazy fall flavored things I found!

I had a large basket and 2 new pumpkin towels from Home Goods just hanging out in my garage

Let the fun begin!

My Candy Corn Scarecrow insisted on jumping in the basket

Do you see the Autumal Harvest Soup next to him?  I had that in my pantry from Trader Joe’s, you must get some if you have a TJs nearby, it’s really delicious!

Rotini pasta and a jar of tomato basil sauce will make a nice easy dinner, with Pumpkin Spice Milano cookies for dessert, plus a sweet and spicy snack mix for nibbling

I tucked in Eat Drink and Be Scary napkins and a mini pumpkin with a long twisty stem

Who wouldn’t love a basket full of fall flavors?

note: I got almost everything at Fresh Market, but you can find a basket full of goodies at just about any store you want to go to… It’s fun to challenge yourself to the hunt!
