Home Decor, 1 Fall Tray, 5 Different Ways!

Welcome to the Autumn on a Tray Blog Tour!
My sweet friend Katherine from Katherine’s Corner
invited us to create and share a Fall tray

If you’re coming from Coco at The Crowned Goat
Thank you for continuing the tour
and Welcome!
I have a large round ceramic tray
that pretty much lives on the table in the foyer
Let me show you how it has morphed over time
from late summer to November

In August it was full of sunflowers, bees, and a frog
In September, out came the pumpkins!

Later in September I found a bundle of wheat at HomeGoods
and put that in a vase on the tray
along with a variety of pumpkins

The vase of wheat on the tray
was decorated with sunflowers
with pumpkins piled around it

As October approached,
I moved a few pumpkins around
and added a ribbon tied golden glass bottle

As Halloween drew near I changed it up with black and white

I used my Painted MacKenzie-Childs inspired faux pumpkins
and 3 ceramic MacKenzie-Childs look a like pumpkins

For November I went back to a more traditional Autumn feel
with apples, Indian corn, and a fall leaf

There’s even a whimsical little turkey near by

After a few days I decided that look was too heavy
and lightened it up a little
using elements from all the previous trays

Then I dressed it all up with lights!

The battery operated mini lights are on a timer
and come on every evening just as it’s getting dark
So pretty!

One Fall tray, 5 different ways!
Next up on the tour is My Home of All Seasons
with her Autumn tray with a coastal feel

I hope you’ll take a moment to visit all the Autumn trays on the links below!

So many fun and festive ways to dress your tray up throughout the year and in different seasons too. They were all really creative and the wheat bundle from Home Goods was such a great score! Hope your weekend is a fun one, CoCo
Thanks so much Coco, I hope you are having a fabulous fall!
I love all of the transitions, so many wonderful ways to create a beautiful tray. Pinned and thank you for joining me for the autumn on a tray blog tour. Hugs!
Thanks so much Katherine, it was such a fun blog tour!
Oh my gosh Jenna! So many wonderful ways to bring a bit of autumn in. I’ve gone through them all twice trying to pick a favorite but I can’t. I just love them all! Thanks so much for sharing and have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you Denise! I tend to always keep tweaking and changing things 🙂
Oh my, Jenna, I love it! Your colors and different textures are just beautiful. I especially love the addition of lights. What great inspiration and styling. Happy weekend and Happy Fall. How fun that we, finally, get to do something together! Hugs. Theresa.
Thanks so much Theresa, and I was so excited when I saw your name on our blog tour list, so fun touring with you!
Love the addition of the fairy lights:@)
I love little white lights, we have some on our patio trees that stay on all year
Oh how fun! I love seeing the different ways you style the ceramic tray!
Thanks so much Elizabeth!
Jenna, I’ve been inspired, and challenged to take one tray and work with it throughout the year! Your creativity is perfect for helping people get the most out of what they own. Every transition you displayed is darling. I really love the finally picture with all the lights. With daylight saving time ending we need all the extra glow 🙂
Thanks so much Rachelle! I loved waking up to sunshine this morning but I won’t be so happy this afternoon when it’s dark at 5 😂
Your trays all look so festive. Always fun to change them up. The wheat is lovely. Love the MC pumpkins. Gotta love the fairy lights. Happy weekend.
Thanks so much Linda! I found the ceramic MKC look a like pumpkins at a local store for a fraction of the price of the real deal and scooped them up!
How fun is all the textured pumpkins and the lights add so much at this time of year. Spring ahead, Fall back tonight. Best wishes, Linda @Crafts a la mode
Thank you Linda!
Jenna, one of the fun things about decorating in fall is that you can use a few autumn-specific items in endless combinations. Your tray five ways demonstrates that perfectly. So perfectly I’d be hard-pressed to decide on a favorite — or two! I think they’ve all struck the right balance of texture, color, shape and height. And so perfect to be the thing that greets visitors to your home! The lights are a wonderful detail.
Thank you Sandra! I adore little white lights and usually have a strand on something somewhere 🙂
Very beautiful and seasonal!
Thank you Angie!
I love your tray metamorphosis for the changing of the seasons Jenna! Happy Sunday ♥
Thank you Mary, I guess it won’t be long until my tray is full of Christmas 🙂
I love the way you find such pretty and festive seasonal decors that you interchange easily and create so many different looks. That one tray serves you well. Even though I love the look of seasonal decorating, I very seldom that the time to decorate. Love the bees, frogs, and sunflowers.
Thank you Judee, seasonal decorating is one of my favorite things to do!
Jenna, I have enjoyed watching your tray change with the seasons. Each one is beautiful and perfect. You are always so creative and inspirational! This is a fun hop.
Thanks so much Pam, I can’t seem to leave anything alone for long, I’m always “tweaking” 😂
I do that 😂
Jenna, what a fun idea for a blog hop. I think trays are my best friend around here. It’s so easy to style one, then move it about as needed. I often keep a tray on our dining room table and buffet, styled for the season. It’s fun to see how your entry tray transitioned through the seasons. Each vignette offers a welcome to your guests and brightens your foyer. Happy November!
Thanks so much Sarah! The foyer table is in the center of the house and seen from so many rooms, I have to keep something interesting there!
What fun, seeing the transitions. They’re all great and it’s fun to get lots of use out of a piece in so many different ways!
Thank you Jeanie, it’s fun to play with decor 🙂
It was so fun to see how your lovely tray has changed throughout Autumn. All of your stylings are beautiful and I love the lights added to the look!
Thanks so much Debbie!
Whoa! Your house stays fresh with decor year round. All of your trays are inspiring! I love the addition of the lights.
Thanks Linda, the foyer is at the center of the house and seen from almost every room so I like to keep a pretty seasonal centerpiece on it.
So many wonderful way to say welcome with these lovely styled trays. Of course each one is special but I love the addition of the little twinkling lights, so pretty for autumn. Have a wonderful week Jenna………
Thanks so much Emily! I love little white lights, especially now that it’s dark at 5!
Your trays look great! They offer so much inspiration. I found you on Between Naps on the Porch’s Metamorphosis Monday link party. I would love to have you come share on my 3 link parties, Happiness is Homemade & You’re the Star Blog Hop (both open now) & Traffic Jam Weekends (which opens Thursdays at 5pm CST) at LifeasaLEOWife.com. I think my readers would love your trays! Have a great week!

I liked seeing all the ways you changed up one tray, Jenna. I’m a big fan of twinkling lights!
Hi, Jenna! That feather pumpkin is to die for!!!! Gorgeous post! Sandi
Thanks so much Sandi, I can’t resist pumpkins!
It is so lovely to see all of the ways you switched up your tray for fall. All of them are just lovely. The feathered covered pumpkin and the bright print fabric pumpkin particularly caught my eye! Using the wheat was such a great way to add height to your displays! Wishing you and your family a blessed Thanksgving!
Thanks so much Chloe, I seem to be always tweaking things, I can’t ever just leave them alone 😂
