Grateful Gathering

Are you busy thinking about Thanksgiving,

planning what you’re going to cook,

and thinking about how you’re going to set your table?

Oh good!

We are here to help!

Rita from Panoply has organized a Thanksgiving tablescape hop

with many beautiful tables to inspire you!

Welcome friends, readers and visitors from Karin’s Kottage

Thanksgiving and the holidays are a time when we

gather

with the special people in our lives

We count our

blessings

And we are so

grateful

And we are

thankful

that we are lucky enough to be able to

gather

The centerpiece represents the abundance of big and small things

we are blessed with…

Velvet pumpkins, glittered fruit and pumpkins of mercury glass

are scattered down the table runner for this special repast

Stemmed cut crystal glass and twinkle lights at night

Sparkle and delight!

When dinner is over and the lingering done

This beautiful centerpiece can easily transition

to the December holidays to come!

Next up is my sweet friend Shannon from Belle Bleu Interiors

Beautiful Jenna! I especially love seeing your centerpiece and table at night as it sparkles and twinkles! And I love how your gold chargers take on a green glow from the lights on your table runner too. ‘Blessed,’ ‘grateful,’ ‘gather,’ and ‘thankful’ are such important sentiments and the perfect touch to complete your Thanksgiving place settings. As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Happy Tuesday. ♥

  2. Beautiful table, Jenna. I like your words of gratitude on the plates and centerpiece.

  3. Jenna, this is a lovely table. I especially like the evening shots all lit up!

Gather, thankful, blessed, and grateful, are wonderful words with so much meaning. Your table is elegant and inviting. Sounds trite but so true.
I love the sparkle of the lights accenting your gilded fruit. I knew I was going to regret giving mine away!
I love seeing your beautiful room. Your abstract painting is perfect!
Fun blog hopping again with this great group.

    • Thank you so much Bonnie! I’ve had the gilded fruit forever and never tire of using it. Thank you for commenting on my painting, it’s one of my favorites and tends to travel around my house 🙂

  5. Your table is so inviting and i love the gentle reminders on each dinner plate! I have fairy lights all around and I forget to turn them on -lol. They add so much to centerpieces. The tree and wall painting are stunning – did you paint the canvas? Happy Thanksgiving

  6. Beautiful and very festive table setup!

  7. Jenna, I will be over to visit soon. I sent you an email last night 😊

  8. Lovely and perfect for making memories.

Jenna, what a treat to be invited into your beautiful dining room! I love the plates with the meaningful words. Sentiments that should make us all think about this season of Thanksgiving and not just one day or season but everyday. The twinkling lights are amazing and I can just imagine sitting at your table for Thanksgiving dinner. I know your grands would be mesmerized by the table.

It is always a pleasure to blog hop with you!

    • Thanks so much Pam! We have been sitting at the table more often lately, trying to teach them proper manners 😂 We will actually be at the beach for Thanksgiving and it will be much less formal!

  11. Rita C. says:

Jenna, what I love most about your Thanksgiving tablescape is how it is an excellent (and simplistically elegant) segue into the Christmas holiday to come. The center runner with the napkins at each place setting are a perfect partners. Thank you for joining on this Thanksgiving feast of tables!

  12. Lovely table Jenna. The words, grateful, thankful, and blessed are so important. The centerpiece is striking with the twinkling lights and velvet pumpkins, glittered fruit and pumpkins of mercury glass. Love the glow of the lights at nightime. Always a pleasure to join you. Happy Thanksgiving.

  13. I love your table, and I love the red elements, too! Your fruit is so sparkly, and the fairy lights contribute lots to the festive atmosphere: I love how your mercury glass pumpkins reflect the lights! 😀 The photos of your dining room at night are neat, and I’m happy you shared them with us. I agree that your centerpiece transitions well into Christmas. I hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

  14. I love the symbolism of large and small elements in your centerpiece translating to large and small thins to be grateful for. The table looks lovely at night and truly sparkles. The fact that it can transition into Christmas is an added Benefit. Beautiful!

  18. Kim says:

Jenna, what a beautiful table! I love the written sentiments on the plates and how perfect is that for Thanksgiving?! Your table runner and centerpiece is gorgeous, and the lights give off such a warm glow. Your console table continues your theme and your abstract painting looks perfect with your Thanksgiving tree! Wishing you the loveliest Thanksgiving with your family!

    • Thank you so much Kim, I just love to use little white lights 🙂 I made that tree with the sparkly fruit so long ago I don’t even remember when, and still love to use it all during the holiday season. Thanks for your sweet visit!

  19. Kari says:

Jenna I love the idea of transitioning from Thanksgiving into Christmas as you come home from your Thanksgiving at the beach. I also have those special words for your dinner plates and I have also spray painted them different colors for different tables. LOL…you see you paint, like the beautiful canvas over your table and I use a can to paint. LOL The lights are always a nice touch…makes everything cozy. AND we all need to spend more time at the dining table in my opinion…makes for better families rather than all going their separate ways at meal times. I have a grand that retreats to his room…I am working on him whenever I can. LOL. Happy Thanksgiving my friend.

    • See you can paint Kari! Ha ha, you always make me smile! I was delighted to find those words on Amazon, and shared them with my good friend who happens to be my son in laws mom, who is hosting Thanksgiving for my daughter and his side of the family…
I am so worried about all my Florida friends as you once again face a threat with Nicole knocking at your door…a hurricane in November, that’s incredible, so sorry! Please take care and I’ll be praying for you 😘

  20. Jill Kuhn says:

You are so good with color Jenna! Lovely table setting – so inviting! I love the sparkling lights too! ❤️

  21. Kitty says:

What a beautiful table to gather, be thankful, blessed and grateful, Jenna. I especially loved seeing it with all the twinkle and glow at nighttime.

  22. Jenna, this is a quietly elegant table, fittingly showcasing the reasons we gather at Thanksgiving. And I love everything about it! The dishware is lovely, what looks like velvet placemats are sumptuous, and your flatware is gorgeous. Add cut crystal for all and pretty pumpkins down the center, and you will have many a guest longing to return again and again! At night the golden leaves and the glittered fruit are softly spectacular. Sigh . . . just lovely! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

    • Thank you so much Sandra! I rarely use my good china, silver and crystal these days when dining is so much more casual and are parties are usually appetizers watching football or gathering on the patio around the fireplace or BBQ! It was fun to set a formal table for a change~ I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving!

  23. Cheryl says:

Oh, how pretty! I especially love the way it looks at night with the twinkle lights on! And the fact that it can be easily converted for Christmas is just amazing! God bless you with a wonderful Autumn season.

  24. Jenna, what a beautiful table set for Thanksgiving! I too especially love it at night with the sparkling lights, I can only imagine what a delight it will be to join you there for Thanksgiving. Your plates make it so special, the whole setting is elegant. It’s fun to have a more formal gathering at a table for Thanksgiving, isn’t it? I can see that this will be stunning for Christmas too, with just a few changes. A brilliant idea. I wish you a very blessed Thanksgiving, friend! Xo Lidy

  25. Marion says:

Jenna, I love your use of all of the gold and the silver in the lit pumpkins. Your evening pictures of your table with all of the white lights really adds to the coziness and warmth. The colorful centerpiece really plays up all of the gold and silver and adds such elegance. Your room is gorgeous, especially with the side table with the lovely mini tree. Your crystal stemware sparkles and the warmth of your dining room table is so warm and inviting. Beautiful and a very calm and peaceful surroundings. Happy Thanksgiving.

    • Thank you so much Marsha~ entertaining is so casual these days, I rarely get out my china and crystal so it was fun to get a chance to use it and create something elegant for a change! Happy Thanksgiving to you too~

Jenna, as soon as I saw your table, I thought how cozy it was. But, then when I saw it all lit up I was really wowed!
