Party Panache, Santa Snacks

The boys are away this weekend

so I spent yesterday wrapping presents

to put under the tree to surprise them

when they get back this afternoon

Besides wrapping the family gifts, I made party favor bags

for the boys and their cousins

Every year our extended family gathers for a luncheon on Christmas Eve

Between my sister-in -law and I, we have 5 children and 11 grandchildren

I always make a little favor bag for all the grands to take home

This year I filled ziplock quart size plastic bags with Cookie Pop,

Candy Pop, chocolate peanut butter pretzels, peppermint bark,

Hershey’s Mint Chocolate Kisses, and a candy cane

I tucked each filled bag into a holiday gift bag

I made Santa Snacks tags and put one on each bag with the child’s name

I made printable gift tags if you want to print them

for making your own treat gifts

You can download them here

I made a few extras for a couple of friends

and the little girls that live next door

So even if you don’t have time to bake a batch of cookies,

a few things from the grocery will be a nice surprise

when packaged in a festive bag~

A few years ago I made the children Reindeer Food

Reindeer food is simply cereal

with a peanut butter and white sugar coating and M & Ms

You can see the recipe here

You can download the reindeer food printable tags here

Snowman Poop is fun to give children,

it’s just a bag of marshmallows for their cocoa or for roasting

You can download the printable here

There’s still time to whip up some fun party favors

for your holiday gathering!

Merry Merry!
