Party Panache, Themed Charcuterie Boards

My daughter and I have had a lot of fun
with charcuterie boards lately
For her birthday party in October we served charcuterie
in a big “C” tray {her last name begins with C} and
I gave her this book, The Art of the Board

She loves the book and decided to have a charcuterie party
for her December supper club
She asked each couple to each bring a themed charcuterie board
and the winner would get a prize!
DD used a big square tray that she used for
CC’s birthday party Ice Cream Sundae Bar
and then added smaller dishes to fill with different foods

She went with a taco theme for her board and filled her tray with tacos,
cheese dip, crackers, guacamole and holiday tortilla chips

There was a smoked sausage board,
with sausage, pickles, a variety of cheeses, jelly, and fresh berries

How about this fun and creative board,
mini hot dogs on a dog bone board!
Another guest brought a Mexican dip board

Individual cups of a dip
made with salsa, tomatoes, sour cream, beans and cheese,
with scoops for dipping
A cute sombrero decorated the center

There was a Christmas tree dessert board
with white chocolate pretzels, mini cakes and chocolate balls

And now for the winning board!
{I’m sure it was hard to pick a winner
out of all these creative and beautiful boards!}
It featured grilled salmon, lemon slices,
hummus and pita triangles, salami, prosciutto,
crackers, olives, cucumbers, sliced radishes and a variety of cheeses
Wow!

DD and I decided it would be fun to expand on the idea
of her C letter board
for our family Christmas Eve lunch
and we ordered J O Y trays here

Since our guests were14 adults and 11 children, ages 7-16,
I kept the charcuterie selections to simple foods
that all ages would enjoy
Pepperoni slices, crackers, cucumbers, salami wrapped cheese sticks,
cherry tomatoes, cheese slices

Easy, family friendly, festive…
Endless possibilities!
