We’re gearing up for Valentine’s Day

bringing lots of ideas to inspire you today!

Thank you to our fabulous hostess Rita from Panoply

for organizing our seasonal hops

Welcome friends, readers and visitors from

Karins Kottage – Pink and Red Valentine’s Table for Kids, so cute!!

I’m setting a Valentine table for 2 today

With beautiful flowers that came my way…

A thoughtful good friend really brightened my day!

With Valentine’s Day only 3 weeks away

It’s time to bring out the hearts and play!

A table full of hearts, flowers and Valentine candy

Says Happy Valentine’s Day really quite grandly!

A holiday poinsettia joins the flower arrangement

with a sweet little gnome holding a card that was sent

There is a cupid stemmed glass for a special drink

And what little treasure is in the Valentine bag do you think?

With roses, chocolates, and hearts scattered about

Love is what this day means, there is no doubt!

Hearts and flowers together just seem to say

Happy Valentine’s Day in a very big way!

Next up on the hop is Cecelia from My Thrift Store Addiction

  1. Love your table set up…so very beautiful and it’s not even complicated.

  2. Rita C. says:

Very cozy table for two for a Valentine celebration, Jenna! I love your sweet bouquet sent to you, and that poinsettia really pops! (I just threw out my white ones, but they really could’ve lasted longer). That little gnome is the sweetest little thing on the table, and so are the cherubs painted on the glasses. The heartfelt thought of the goodies for you and friend on the plate stack make for a cozy table to be shared by two. Jenna, thank you for participating in this special occasion hop! xo

  3. Cecilia says:

Jenna, your flowers are beautiful and I love your cupid stemware! Pinned! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction

  4. Kari says:

Jenna I look forward to your poetry and would be so disappointed if you did not give us your prose. LOVE IT! And I love your table for two. Your talents show on your little cherubs painted on your glassware and your gift bags. Your flowers are lovely…secret admirer? or your wonderful son? Happy Valentine’s day my good friend

    • Thank you Kari! The silly poems just seem to pop in my head 🙂 I am so sorry you had to drop out at the last minute, I hope your issue has been cleared up and you will post your table in the upcoming weeks!

  5. Nancy says:

What a bright and cheery table for a Valentine’s Day! The flowers are so sweet and your poinsettia is a lovely touch. The cute little gnome is darling.
I always enjoy your poetry dear one.
Have a beautiful day my friend.

  6. Very sweet table Jenna. Love your expected poetry. You always amaze us with your creativity and talents/ Love the cherubs. A pretty tablecloth to tie in the romantic touches. I love that you dressed your chairs. Always a pleasure hopping with you.

  7. Love all the red white! Your square plates are fabulous! The lighting in your entry is so fantastic and what a fun place to set up a cozy romantic dinner for two!
    Hugs,
    Karin

  8. Bonnie Morgan says:

Jenna, your post is beautiful! Your flowers from a friend are gorgeous and I love that you included your poinsettia in the vignette. I always enjoy your rhyming and would love to have that talent. It is a gift.
You brightened my day viewing your happy spot!

  9. Jenna, I love hearts and flowers anytime, but especially for Valentine’s! The flowers from a friend are perfect and are a sweet and thoughtful gift. The poinsettia adds that gorgeous red color. I spotted Ghirardelli chocolates that are some of my favorites. Your hand painted cherubs add a lovely sweetness to the already sweet table for two. I always enjoy your creativity and poems ♥️

  10. lghiggins says:

Your whimsical poetry is always a delight. I too love to hang onto the poinsettias. The vibrant red is perfect for Valentine’s Day.

  11. Julie says:

I can’t believe that Valentine’s Day is in three weeks! Jenna, you decorated such a pretty table with flowers and candy and I love the ribbon on the chairs too.

  12. thefrenchhutch says:

Jenna, such a lovely table set with flowers, candy and valentines! The sweet poetry makes this post extra special. The cupid stem is darling along with the red bow tied on the chairs. I love the special attention to detail that makes this setting so pretty, so I love how you’ve welcomed Valentine’s Day!

  13. Ricki Treleaven says:

I’m happy I wasn’t the only one with poinsettias, LOL! I’ve never had them last this long: Usually mine are dead by Christmas! I love your painting…the floral heart is so cute! The chartreuse tray on your table really pops, and I’m so happy that it’s making a comeback (one of Benjamin Moore’s colors of the year) because it’s one of my favorite colors. LOVE the goblets, such cute little cupids. Soooo….what’s in the gift bags? You have to answer my question with a rhyming couplet, though….love your poetic post, My Friend!
    Happy Valentine’s!
    XO,
    Ricki Jill

    • haha, thanks Ricki Jill! The chartreuse tray pretty much lives on that table because it’s so heavy it’s hard to move it! I am surprised the poinsettia still looks so good, the secret must be to ignore it because I don’t water it very often!

  14. Marion says:

Thank you for sharing this lovely tablescape. Those goblets are gorgeous.
    HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY
    Joan,Marilyn and Marion

  15. Shannon@Belle Bleu Interiors says:

  16. Kim says:

Jenna, this is such a sweet table for two and your prose always brings a smile to my face! The flowers and poinsettia are both gorgeous and I love how you have combined pink, red, and white in the table – the colors of love, as Pam would say. Your cherub wine glasses are so perfect and the gnome is adorable. Love the table runners and the red ribbons on the back of the chairs. Lucky is the person that joins you at your table! Happy Valentine’s day!

    • Thanks so much Kim, I’ve always loved Valentine’s Day! I’m so glad you joined our hop group to share your table styling talents! What a great variety of creative tables made up our Valentine hop this year, all so pretty and so different!

  17. Denise/My Home of All Seasons says:

What a beautiful sight and you made it just right! Ok… so I will leave the poetry to you my friend!!! Your table is absolutely gorgeous Jenna. Hearts, candy, and flowers. What else could you possibly need for a perfect Valentine celebration? Love, love, love the chair bows and that sweet little gnome. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a great day!

  18. Just adorable!! The little gnome is so cute and of course I adore your hand painted glasses. Your flowers are so pretty. I would certainly enjoy taking a seat at your table!

  19. Sarah says:

Jenna, hearts and flowers are welcome here anytime, so I love your theme. I also love that you use your round table in the entry. I wish I had space to do that here. I also look forward to your rhyming dialog. Great fun! Thanks for always inspiring me, and for your kind friendship. Fun to be on a hop with you.

  20. Deb says:

Jenna, I love seeing your decorated table for two in the foyer. The only table I decorate is my table for two. Your creativity, hand painted glasses and poetry stole the show.

  21. Mary says:

So festive and perfect for Valentine’s Day Jenna! What a wonderful friend to send you flowers with a card-bearing sweet little gnome and pretty grouping with your poinsettia. I love the edges and texture of your square white plates and how your used your two runners to drape off the edge of the table. Your painted stems are so cute too! As always it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. So sorry I’m late visiting, I had a heck of a day yesterday. Wishing you a Happy Wednesday ♥

  22. Such a pretty setting, Jenna and the flowers are lovely. Roses and “treats” really speak to a perfect Valentine’s Day celebration. Love the detail in the hand-painted glasses. Adds a nice personal touch to the table. Thanks for sharing.

  25. Marsha says:

Jenna, how sweet and whimsical. I love your use of two red and white heart runners as the foundation of your table with such beautiful flowers. Love the little gnome card and cupid wine glasses. Of course, the sweet treats stirred up my sweet tooth and started a craving. Love the use of square plates which contrasts so nicely with all of the heart shapes. It has such poetic charm. Always a pleasure to hop with you, Jenna. Happy Valentine’s Day.
