Tablescape Ideas for Late Spring and Early Summer

Now that Spring has arrived

and May and June are on the horizon,

I’ve rounded up some tablescape ideas

for Cinco De Mayo, Mother’s Day, and Al Fresco dining~

Inspiration for these occasions!

Cinco de Mayo

Think colorful for this USA celebrated Mexican holiday

A bromeliad plant makes a wonderful centerpiece

Create eye candy with bowls filled with a bloom

and baby sweet peppers or leaves

Create a pedestal by putting a plate on top of a vase or bowl

A sombrero instantly adds a South of the Border feeling,

hang it on the door or fill it with tortilla chips!

Bring out a Mariachi band to play 💃

Don’t Forget the Margaritas!

Mother’s Day

Create a Memory table for Mother’s Day with framed family photos

Everyone will enjoy this stroll down Memory Lane

Intersperse a baby cup or dish among the photos

Shower Mom with fresh flowers and fruit

Place a rolled napkin inside a stemmed glass

and add a leaf to mimic a tulip

Lay a tulip on the plate to designate Mom’s place

Set a whimsical girly table with pink everything!

A little tropical feel with pink flamingos, hydrangeas, and palm trees

Pink plates, placemats and glasses

Chairs tied with bows and a pink rose

Adorn each place with a bloom filled tea cup

Al Fresco

Set your outdoor table with a theme,

like this Vegetable Garden table

Vegetable plates and glasses surround the centerpiece

of corn and fresh vegetables

This coastal table is filled with birdhouses, buoys and a boat

This cute watering can pillow was the inspiration

for a blooming watering can table on the patio

The centerpiece has a watering can with red blooms

and other greenery to camouflage the umbrella pole

Faux vegetables are in the bowls at each place

Small blue hydrangeas tucked are tucked in the watering can napkin rings

Fill your dining room with Spring blooms!

Celebrate Spring!
