Take-out Tuesday, Blue Cheese Stuffed Burgers
We love hamburgers all year long,
but they seem to be especially tasty in the summertime
The other night we made burgers stuffed with blue cheese
and they were amazing!
If you’re not a fan of blue cheese,
I have other delicious cheese stuffed burgers
for you at the end of this post

Several hours before stuffing the burgers
make the blue cheese butter

Put softened butter, blue cheese crumbles,
chopped chives and Dijon mustard into a bowl

Mash it all together with the tines of a fork

Put it in the refrigerator to firm up
Make two thin hamburger patties
and put a thick layer of blue cheese on one patty
and then top with the second patty
and pinch edges together to seal

HHjr, the Chef, had taken over at this point
and I didn’t get a picture before he sealed them
The boys don’t like blue cheese so theirs will be topped with Cheddar
Drizzle the burgers with Worcestershire sauce

Grill the burgers until they are done to your liking

Serve on toasted, buttered buns
with additional blue cheese butter on top

The blue cheese butter melted into the burger meat
and they were so good!
Next time I’m going to add bacon pieces to the stuffing 😋

Thanks Carole, so good!
This burger looks amazing. I can just imagine eating it with a piece of corn and a slice of tomato. Summer on a plate.
Thanks Bernadette, yes, corn and tomato would be perfect!
So juicy and flavourful! I love blue cheese and this makes a great meal.
Thanks Angie, so good!
I have not grilled any burgers yet this summer. I think that will change this week!
Thanks for the delicious inspiration!
Happy June, my friend!
Thanks Nancy, there is nothing better than a good burger in my book!

Thanks Pam, they were so good!
Sounds so good Jenna…I am always open to new ideas for grilled hamburgers. Luv ’em and I love blue cheese. Have a great week.
Thanks Kari, there is nothing better than a good grilled burger in my book!
Is there anything that doesn’t taste good with blue cheese? This looks delicious !
ha, I don’t think so, I love the stuff!
Oooh I love burgers, and stuffed with blue cheese butter sounds like the way to go!
Thanks Kitty, they were so good!
Thank goodness Jim keeps the grill going all year long with the exception of extreme weather. He would love the blue cheese burger best, I prefer cheddar. Jay is on board with blue cheese as well so I want to try this recipe. Sounds delicious!
Thank you Emily! My son grills all year long too, and cheese makes everything better!
I would love these blue cheese laden burgers, but I understand your grandsons’ reluctance. i was an adult before I found blue cheese at all tasty. Since they are exposed to all these wonderful flavors, there is a good chance that they will be more adventurous as their taste buds mature.
Me too Linda, I was super picky when I was little, and so were my children, but it’s funny how your taste changes when you’re grown up! One of my grandsons will eat just about anything, so I know he will come around to liking blue cheese.
You’re talking my language! Blue cheese and anything!
I agree Jeanie!!
Thank you so much for the recipe! It doesn’t get any better than this.
Thank you Laura, there’s nothing better than a good hamburger!
Such a tasty burger Jenna! Bacon would be a delicious addition. ♥
Thanks Mary, yes, definitely!
This would be my husband’s heaven! He can’t have a burger withOUT blue cheese!! Thanks for sharing at the What’s for Dinner party.
I’m a blue cheese fan too, I like to put it in everything!
