Holidays, Ideas for the Independence Day

As summer continues in full swing,

it won’t be long until it’s the 4th of July 🇺🇸

I’ve rounded up some cute ideas that have caught my eye

and some things from the archives

to amp up your celebration!

I love this flag bundt cake with fresh berries from Dash of Sanity

How about an American flag made out of wine corks?

This patriotic decoration is from Creatively Beth

These star cookies by BakerMama are really cute

If there’s no time for baking, here’s a shortcut dessert~

Frost store bought cookies with prepared white icing from a can,

decorate with red and blue sprinkles

and place them in a festive cupcake paper

This idea comes from Big Bear’s Wife

I love these fun firecrackers from Confessions of a Plate Addict

They are made with Pringles potato chip cans!

Make a Patriotic Basket to hang on your front door

I spray painted a basket white, added an initial,

and filled the basket with red mesh, ribbons

and decorative picks from the craft store

Trifles are an easy dessert to assemble

and they make a wow presentation!

Look at this pretty trifle from Chef in Training

Set up a Red, White & Blue Buffet

These firecrackers are easy to paint

Get inexpensive chargers from the craft store

and make them 4th festive!

Firecracker Chargers

Make a red, white and blue flower arrangement

I love this one from my friend Pam @ Everyday Living

Make a Patriotic tiered tray

How about a Red, White and Sea Blue boat

for a touch of coastal or lakeside decor

Celebrate the Red, White & Blue!

Good morning, Jenna. What a fun and festive round-up of Independence Day ideas. It is hard to believe the holiday is two weeks from today. Thanks so much for the shout-out! Wishing you a wonderful Thursday ❤️🤍💙

  6. These are all really cute but I never decorate much for the Fourth. (Last year, it was just me! At least Rick is there this year.) But I love yoru good ideas — and heavenn knows, I’ve got corks! I might even have some frozen star cookies (unfrosted yet) from Christmas. I’ll have to dig those out!

As you noted on my post….we think alike and are proud of our country. Your recipes are perfect for this 4th of July celebration as we remember those who fought and died that we may have our freedoms. God Bless America and God Bless our troops.

Jenna, this post is just “sparkling” with great ideas! I have been in love with the little paper umbrellas since I was a little girl, but then I saw the firecrackers and went wild over them. Too many fun decorations for one holiday!
