Easing into Fall

Welcome to the Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

Thank you Rita from Panoply for being our hostess with the mostess!

Are you feeling or seeing any signs of Fall?

We are still experiencing hot temps in the South,

but there is a leaf or two on the ground,

and the days are getting shorter, so surely Fall is on the way!

Today I am easing into fall

with a tablescape of pumpkins and sunflowers

Come on in and get comfortable

The centerpiece features a MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check tiered tray

It is full of sunflowers that make a very happy display

A runner of pumpkins and fresh sunflowers are on each side

I can’t pick a favorite pumpkin, it’s too hard to decide!

The places are set with plates of yellow and white

They sit on black place mats which really make them look bright!

Square sunflower canape trays sit on top of each plate

It’s almost time for dinner~

I can hardly wait!

Thank you for joining in the fun today!

Good morning, Jenna! How stunning is the Courtly Check tiered tray loaded with sunflowers as your centerpiece. I do know how much you love sunflowers, and so do I! The array of different pumpkins makes a wonderful display with the sunflowers. Plates of yellow and white on black placemats pop with square sunflower canapé trays. I love your use of black and white with the runner and placemats.

It is always a pleasure to join you at one of your lovely tables. Happy Fall🌻

  2. Easing into fall is a good title; that’s the only way I plan to do it!

  3. I love the sunflower theme! Those small square sunflower plates are so adorable.

Jenna, I adore sunflowers! They are just the happiest of flowers with their bright sunshine yellow faces! Your table is so happy, and the perfect welcome to fall. The arrangement of flowers and pumpkins placed on the MC tiered tray is beautiful. The addition of more pumpkins and sunflowers trailing down the black and white checked table runner makes for a striking centerpiece! The sunflower plates are so pretty and make the perfect finishing touch to your plate stack. Wishing you a most wonderful day, sweet friend!

  6. This just might be my favorite tablescape thus far. I absolutely adore the contrast of the black and white against the bright yellow of the sunflowers. This whole set up goes so beautifully well together. Thank you for sharing!

LOVE the black and gold, my high school colors! I also like the checks, too. Your sunflower salad plate are so cheerful, and they are perfect for fall. Your MacKenzie-Childs courtly check tiered server steals the show. I love it! I also like your pumpkin collection: It adds so much interest to your table. Happy fall! I hope we can get together soon for lunch or coffee or something.

Jenna I love when you set up a tablescape in your dining room…it is so lovely. And if your poetry was absent, I would notice. Thanks for staying true to yourself and for the beautiful sunflowers and MKC pieces and pumpkins. So cozy. All the pieces are striking and just perfect for a Autumn meal. Speaking of a meal…it is time to drag out the Blackstone grill from beneath our motorhome and toss on some burgers for lunch. I miss doing the blog hop but love the traveling. I guess I could have set up a tablescape with paper goods…we do have plenty of those. Happy Fall and keep cool.

Jenna, Your table is perfect to transition from summer to fall and I’ve always loved the combination of black and white check with sunflowers! Your Courtly Check tiered tray is a stunner and makes a beautiful centerpiece with your bounty of pumpkins. Adorable canape plates too, they really pop on your yellow plates!! 🌻As always it’s a treat to have a virtual seat at your table hop with you. Happy almost fall and stay cool! 🍂🍁🧡

Jenna, that M-C tiered tray makes a scrumptious springboard for your tablescape of black & white and pops of sunny-faced sunflowers! I love the textiles here – lots of texture in the layered placemats, runner, and that adorable sunflower pumpkin. Very cute plate stack toppers in those sunflowers. It’s been so hot and dry here that many, many leaves have fallen from our trees, a few even bare already.
Thank you for participating in our welcome fall hop – and always delivering not only your table talent, but your happy poetry as well!

    • Thank you Rita, I adore sunflowers and pumpkins are my weakness 🙂 As always thank you for hosting, you are much appreciated! Sounds like more hot temps this week, ugh!

  14. Lynne says:

Loved the mix of black and white with the pops of yellow color in the sunflowers and the small plates, Jenna. The tiered centerpiece is stunning and is a perfect foil for the sunflowers. I loved the alternating plates and the simple checked place mats. This table made me smile and is a great transition from summer to fall.

Jenna, I love your collection of pumpkins, and agree that it would be hard to pick a favourite. Using the black placemats was a great idea, it really does make the yellows pop! Sunflowers always bring a smile to my face, and I love how you have trimmed them short. They look perfect nestled between the pumpkins! Maureen

  16. Jenna, your table is darling. I love the black, white and yellow. Don’t you just loved the MKC tiered stand. Those cute little black and white checked plates with sunflowers are calling my name. A beautiful array of pumpkins on your table. I cannot pick a favorite. Sunflowers are such happy flowers 🌻 a fun table to sit down and enjoy. Always a pleasure hopping along with you.

  17. I love the profusion of sunflowers! They are stunning against the graphic black and white linens and pretty plates. The choice of pumpkins in mostly black and white with some neutrals was an inspired choice. The tiered tray is the perfect size to set the theme. I like that you alternated the stemware as well as the dinner plates for added interest. The overall effect is delightfully cheerful and a wonderful intro to fall!
